For more than 50 years, the Southern Poverty Law Center has worked to dismantle white supremacy and advance the rights of all.
The SPLC is charting a course guided by clearly defined values while expanding its reach in the Deep South by strengthening partnerships with grassroots organizations and increasing its political and policy work across the South and in Washington, D.C. That work includes expanding Vote Your Voice to also support organizations’ voting rights and fair redistricting efforts in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana and Mississippi.
The event was emceed by Atlanta radio personality Ryan Cameron and featured discussion panels and appearances by president and CEO Margaret Huang, along with guest speakers.
