Henock enjoys a meal, and fist bump, with his brother Nick on a Hawaiian surf vacation in 2017. “As the years went by and I was able to process it more, I remember feeling more sorry for these young individuals who committed this heinous crime, knowing that they wake up every morning with hate and malice towards people they’ve never met,” said Henock, who now lives in the Middle East, where he is raising his own family and working as a pilot for a major commercial airline.
