During the third year of the Trump presidency, we witnessed a continued rising threat to inclusive democracy: a surging white nationalist movement that has been linked to a series of antisemitic and racist terror attacks and that has coincided with an increase in hate crime.
The number of anti-LGBTQ+ and anti-immigrant hate groups also increased. These groups are particularly dangerous because their leaders are now shaping national policyfor the Trump administration.
Hate has no place in our country.
