Lawmaker Proposes Memorial To Back Immigration Reform, Condemn Border Vigilantes

Sen. Gerald Ortiz y Piño, D-Albuquerque, introduced a pro-immigration reform memorial that would condemn "extremist groups that advocate bigotry or racism, armed citizen response or vigilantism in any form that subvert the democratic process and fundamental values of the United States."
