Creating a stimulus package that benefits us all

Please contact your members of Congress now and urge them to create a stimulus package that benefits all people.

Demand that ICE protect the health and safety of detained immigrants

While communities across the country are taking steps to stem spread of COVID-19, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is recklessly exposing the 35,000 people held in its detention centers to the risk of infection and even death. Those thousands of people cannot wait.

Please contact your members of Congress now and urge them to demand that ICE protect the health and safety of detained immigrants.

Release people from jails and prisons now

While millions of people across Florida are doing their part to stem the COVID-19 pandemic by “social distancing,” there are almost 100,000 incarcerated people in the state who are at serious risk and simply can’t practice such precautionary measures.

Tell Gov. Ron DeSantis to act immediately by using his clemency power to get people in our prisons out of danger.

The relief package must focus on working families

Things are moving quickly, and Congress is working on a spending bill to address the economic devastation caused by COVID-19. If we are going to weather this storm, we will need policies that work for everyone and not giveaways to big corporations.

Tell your members of Congress to pass a COVID-19 relief package that works for everyone and invests in working families.

Passing the Families First Act
Congress must take steps NOW to protect communities from the coronavirus as we face the far-reaching effects of the pandemic by passing the Families First Act.

Please urge your U.S. senators to vote for the bill.
